The History of BankVault:
BankVault relaunches SafeWindow with our new "invisible keyboard". Called SafeKeyboard it runs in conjunction with SafeWindow to completely bypass any malware or keyloggers on your local operating system. The keyboard runs off your mobile phone (Apple or Android) and pairs with your remote SafeWindow virtual machine and displays characters back on your local PC. BankVault launches reseller partner program with IT service providers to deliver BankVault Business Banking solution.
BankVault wins Top Fintech Startup at the World Cup Tech Challenge hosted by Silicon Valley Forum and Microsoft.
Launched BankVaultOnline.com as a physical device providing total endpoint security for critical online transactions. Several generations later it evolved into a small USB device.
Launched RainDrop, a virtual Linux desktop in a browser tab, to address the online banking security issue in Denmark where 250,000 people, 5% of the population of a first world country, were losing secure online banking when Java on XP went out-of-life.
Patented new cloud platform technology codenamed Rainmaker, a self-evolving architecture rebuilding thousands of virtual user desktop machines virtually on the fly and deploying within a couple of seconds. It is future-proof IT infrastructure reducing rollouts, maintenance, support and total ongoing costs by 90%. Grew to 16,000 users. Recognised by Rackspace. Profiled by Robert Scoble. Considered for pilot to 15,000 Stanford University staff.
